Forget the stirrups. Warming up the speculum is far, far more important!

Well I imagine the birthing pool will be a lot more comfortable. A better position for giving birth I think-and probably less painful.

Well, stirrups are made of metal, so would you rather have hot metal touching your fun parts, or get the cold shock for only a second?

Its so, degrading. So far, i have been lucky, not to have, my legs in stirrups. Just my 3yr, cervical smear test. In the clear. Phewwww!

I'm with you sister. Also why can't they have some sort of heating agent in the gel they use for the ultra sounds.

If you mean gynecologists, then yes! It's uncomfortable when they're cold! Also the speculum too! Ugh!
