You're eventually going to end up with just one red fin shark. I think you're using this name for a rainbow shark, but it can also apply to a red-tailed shark (or one of each). These species are aggressive toward members of their own species and each other because of the similarity.

We have a medium red fin shark in our tank and he bullies all th eother fish, especially our albino rainbow shark. Its fins are all torn and eaten because of that one red tail shark in our tank! I had put the albino in my small 5 gallon all by himself so that he could heal, but when he was healed, we put him back inwith the other fish, and he is getting beat up again

The people at the local fish store said that red fins are semi-aggressive. if the little one won't defend itself it will probably get killed by the other shark...

Okay, the main problems I see here is you should only have one red tailed black shark, because one will constantly bully the other, especially when they get bigger, and you should also have at lease 5 tiger barbs, as they are aggressive, and will harrass the other fish, unless they live in a school, when they will only harmlessly bother each other. Good luck!

It is too small. You need to put the small fish in a different bowl because he will never start sticking up for himself.
