Why doesn't the "letting go" part come easily. Are all people like that? Sometimes it's so strong that it prevents you from doing your daily tasks. It leads to anxiety, depression....What causes this?

People say that if you are not able to turn away from the past or allow the pains of life to get you down, then you are not intelligent. Is this true?

As painful as the past is for some people,they cling to it because they are afraid of change.

That's a myth if you ask me. Sometimes the past, was extremely good or bad. Depending on each persons experience, the memories still linger on.
Time, is the only medicine most of the times although there are ppl, who can not accept it. To overheal pain or suffering, depends on the willingness of each individual.
To be judgemental in those cases, is very wrong but there is, after all, hope and faith and if you believe that you can let go, you most certainly will.
