Two things~~
I've always thought it was really interesting to study Hitler's upbringing and try to figure out why he turned out the way he did. There a lot of interesting books on the subject.
Another thing that I find interesting is Hitler's last few days in the bunker with Eva. There is a lot of quiet desperation there and a lot of things that point to his charecter flaws. You could create a timeline and talk about what he did specifically.

There is a recent book, "Until the Final Hour," by Hitler's last secretary, Traudl Junge. She just took his dictation, but she saw every thing. People are not much interested in it, so you might pick it up on amazon.com cheap. There is a recent film, "The Downfall," on DVD. Likewise, it might be cheap, because it is in German with English subtitles. The film is partly based on Traudl Junge and on a book by Albert Spehr, "Inside the Third Reich." That is a cheap paperback at your library or amazon.com. In 1945, there was a book published called "The Last Ten Days" "Die Letzt Zehn Tage" by a British author Trevor-Roper. For more general background of the period, there is a cheap paperback book, "Berlin Diary," by an author named Shirer.

1. Why dont you do it on Hitler's relationship with women in his life and how he tried to match them up to the ideals of his mother? or 2.Did Hitler suffer from an overdose of medication along with syphilis and parkinson's disease which alter possible troop movements during the war?
3. What was really behind the German-Soviet pact in 1939 and was it only to carve out Poland?

What many people miss out when commenting on Hitler, is the reasons for his sudden burst of killings. Find out the reasons why he when crazy, not the obvious ones, but look deeper into history.

I have always thought it very interesting that this individual could so effectively, capture such support of a nationalistic movement within Germany when he wasn't even of German origin : He was born in Austria. Was He as "Aryan" as the his cause? What are the true origins of this concept?
