minimum wage. Whatever it is in your state. This is typical starting pay for any pizza place especially if your 14-16 with no prior experience. You'll have a lot of fun working at one though!

Hi, a couple of questions, Is the Pizza Hut Corporate or Franchise, because if you are only 14 and working at a Corporate Pizza Hut then I would be asking questions because I am a manager at a Corporate and we can not hire anyone under 16. The TMRI test that you would have taken would also not let them enter in the numbers if you are under 16. Most back of house employees start at 5.15 to 5.25 For front of house it is 2.13 plus tips and 5.15 to 5.25 for production wage.

I believe the youngest you can legally marry in the U.S. is 16 with parental consent, and 18 in all other situations. I am not sure what the laws are in other countries. Frankly, the laws are in place for a reason. At fourteen, you may have found -- or at least, believe you have found -- the person with whom you would like to spend the rest of your life, but fourteen year olds aren't even fully developed mentally. Also, at that age, people have a very limited concept of what "the rest of your life" entails, considering their entire life has barely been any longer than a decade. However, this isn't to say that it's not possible to find true love at fourteen. But if you do love someone that much, then you should take the responsibility of waiting until you're at a more appropriate age. If "the rest of your life" will be so easy, then giving it another four years is hardly anything.

Whatever minimum is now, it just went up. Congratulations on getting a job. Not many 14 year olds want one. Do a good job and as you get older and move on to other jobs, you'll have a great work history.
