Yes, it would be lonely. My husband passed away suddenly
in the prime of his life, 2 years ago, and even though it
hurts like hell every day, I still know I was blessed to be with
him for 10 years, even though I feel like it wasn't nearly
long enough , I am a better person for having him in my life.

Yes, it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all! I loved, and just last night I lost, but I still love, and I don't regret a minute, because I know the ache will go away in time, but the memories will live on forever! *sm*

With people yes I do believe that. But not with the chili dog I had in my hand a few minutes ago (with the perfect balance of chili, mustard, and relish). In that split second when your cat comes barreling through the room, grabs your perfect treat, and mauls it under the couch, your world comes crashing down! And yes, then dropping to your knees and sobbing a little. It all depends, it all depends...

It depends. If you haven't tried loving someone else, maybe it would be better not to try to love someone because, the hurt that will cause you will make you resent the way you have loved the person..does that answer your question? =)
