Truthfulness in every deed not only keeps us young but it helps remove the dross from within. When I was 13 years of age I decided to go in search of God. I practiced truthfulness at its best... not letting go even a single moment of my life devoid of truthfulness. Finally at 37 years of age I realized God.

My body having become absolute pure... I was indeed a child encased in the body of a grown-up. The sunny disposition and serene thinking made me almost like a child. I may be growing in years... at heart I was youngest ever I could be. This was the moment in my life when I could have prolonged my life by a hundred years or so.

By practicing truthfulness I could reduce my heartbeat from 72 to 26. The average life span of human being could thus be increased from hundred to almost 280 years. Whenever we come across a saint of the highest spiritual order... we find the wise to be old only in age.

If you truly desire remaining young... we must practice spirituality at its best. Spirituality not only helps maintain the body healthy... it provides inner calm that is most essential for a happy living. The body being a garb for the soul atman within... the moment the actions of the body synchronizes with the dictates of the soul... one practically defeats death in its face. A proper mindset, proper nutrition, and proper care of one's body. Becoming of age is unpreventable, but becoming old is something your mind does to you. It's a set of thoughts that you either allow to occupy your existance or not. You can choose to be forever young if you so desired.

the dna from the mithochondria of your cells codes for the eldering of your cells. the only way that you could reverse aging would be by replacing these mithochondria. this is physically. But maturity can only be prevented from the inhibition of experience, virtually for example, when one goes into a vegetative state.

nothing prevents your body from getting old,,,, as long as you live long enough for that to happen,,,,,,,,, as to old in mind and spirit,,,,, that can happen at a very young age, either by gaining wisdom,,,,, or your spirit losing the zest for life,,,,,,,

my father always said that we are as young as we feel in our minds.

i feel too that an active mind is good and able to keep us at a point where life is always engaging.
