I love to eat apples.
They are so bright and shiny.
But be sure to wash them off.
They are a delightful and tasty treat.
Try them with peanut butter or caramel dip.
Candy apples, fried apples, and apple pie these are a few of my favorite things.
Tell your son I said hi!

Gosh, I think nearly everyone likes apples! I love the pink lady and Fuji varieties, but there are so many good ones.
I'm lucky enough to live only an hour away from Apple Hill
(good stop on the way to Lake Tahoe) and you can find all kinds of apples there, along with loads of yummy foods made with apples. They have crafts and a lake to fish; it's a great place for a family outing. If you're ever in the area, it's sure worth a stop.

Give him a bottle, add some cereal flakes to it to fatten him up a bit, he sounds like he is missing his bottle. Babies and Infants will let you know when they are ready to let go of the bottle. Making the decision for him can cause this exact issue. Toss the baby foods aside for now. Cook up some scrambled eggs - (butter is okay) no salt, no pepper, no flavoring. Let him come to the plate. Eggs are weird for little kids, make sure you chop them up small, so he can eat them himself. Give him a sippy cup with milk in it if you don't want to give him the bottle back. At meal times pretend to eat his food, tell him how good it is, what he is missing and show him what to do. He may spit out the eggs, again they are weird for little kids. Watch his reaction, give praise if he eats it. If he tosses it, gently say "oh no no!!" Act out your parts, play everything up big, especially foods. The more reaction to the food babies and infants see, the more brave they become, testing the textures, flavors etc. I have a picky eater, he eats what he likes and refuses to try something new, unless I make a BIG deal out of the flavor, texture or color. Then he will try it and come to love it. Life's a big game for babies and infants! Good Luck!
