Well that all depends on how far you are from the state line when you start driving. Where I live it takes about 90 minutes.

Well it depends on which "next state" you would be referring to? And if you're driving at the legal speed limit posted.

I know for me to get from my part of Cincinnati, Ohio to the border of Kentucky only takes about 20 minutes without a crap load of traffic or construction.

Same thing with Indiana really.

To get to Nevada it takes 3 hours. So, that's the closet state to where I'm at. I'm in California. Yes, there's a change. There's more flat land in that area, once you leave California.

2 1/2 hours to Montana, nothing different
about 6 hours to Minnesota, nothing different
45 minutes to Canada, much more expensive
about 3 hours to South Dakota, nothing different

I can't I'm stuck on an island!! The closest would probably California, but that would be impossible in a vehicle because I would probably plunge into the ocean. (Hawaii)

I can get to Ohio from Michigan in about 35 minutes and the roads are instantly in better condition. I also have to slow down.
