The original King Kong, the old black and white version from the 30s is excellent. I absolutely love it, Fay Wray was excellent in her role. Also, the original House on Haunted Hill with Vincent Price. Really, anything with Vincent Price is worth watching. The first and second Pink Panther movies were good, if you enjoy watching Peter Sellers.

I am also an old horror movie fan and the best way is to look for movies by actor. For great old horror movies, check out the list:

Vincent Price
Peter Cushing
Peter Lorre
Lon Chaney
Bela Lugosi

The Terror is excellent, with Vincent Price and a very young Jack Nicholson.

Did you see Dracula with Bela Lugosi? Not horror, but you should see: The Third Man, North By Northwest, Laura, Arsenic and Old Lace, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Name of the Rose, and Casablanca. Enjoy.

Hitchcock's are the best old movies
i would suggest rope and rear window
that new movie disturbia is a remake of rear window so it would be cool to see rear window at home then go see the remake in theaters
also if you like creepy films watch twilight zone

Try some Hitchcock, my favorite is Rear WIndow. The original Halloween is good too. Try North by Nothwest. The Shining always scares the bejesus out of me.

The house of wax(original version with Vincent Price).
For the rest the Dracula films with Bela Lugosi.
The old ones are always the best believe me, for sure if there in black/white.
