a homepage is a spot on a website that welcomes you to it. It is the main page of the website. You can think of it as an index. it points to other parts of the website. hope this helps

Its the page you wish to see every time you open your browser. For IE, you can go to the site you want as your homepage and drag the icon in the address bar to the little home icon and let go. Then click YES to set it.
