The first triangles have two angles and one side

AAS

The second Triangles have two sides and one angle

SAS

There's not much of an explination, really...just the order and placement of the congruent pieces of both triangles.

Just look at the picture. In the first pic, each of the triangles has two Angles and the Side between them marked.

In the second, two Sides and the Angle between them.
