It helps to make these fractions into improper fractions before anything.

so: (final answers are at the end of each line)
1. 3/2 x 26/3 = 78/6 = 13
2. 9/4 divided by 1/8 = 9/4 x 8 = 18
3. 22/5 - 14/10 = 44/10 - 14/10 = 30/10 = 3
4. 17/3 x 3 = 17
5. 6/7 divided by 1/7 = 6/7 x 7 = 6
6. 27/2 - 9/6 = 27/2 - 3/2 = 24/2 = 12

1. 3/2 * 26/3= cancel the 3's out 26/2=13
2.9/4 divided by 1/8=9/4 *8/1= the 4 becomes a 1 and the 8 becomes a 2 9*2=18
3.22/5- 14/10= make 10 your lcd 44/10-14/10= 30/10=3
4. 17/3 * 3/1=51/3=17
5. 6/7 divided by 1/7=6/7 * 7/1= the 7's cancel out 6*1=6
6. 27/2-9/6= use 6 as the lcd= 51/6-9/6=42/6=7

1) Convert the two mixed numbers to fractions. So one and half becomes 3/2 and eight and two-thirds becomes 26/3. Now multiply the fractions together. When you multiply fractions, you take the product of the numerators over the product of the denominators:
3/2 * 26/3 = 78/6.
You could then rewrite this as a mixed number. You'll find that it's equal to the whole number 13.

2) Convert the mixed number to a fraction. So two and one-fourth becomes 9/4.
When you divide to fractions, you take the reciprocal of the second fraction (flip it over) and then multiply. So 9/4 divided by 1/8 is 9/4 * 8/1 = 72/4. You can reduce this to get the whole number 18.

3) When subtracting mixed numbers, rewrite the fractions to have common denominators. Then subtract the whole numbers separately and subtract the fractions separately. So 4-1 = 3, and since 2/5 is also 4/10, you get zero when you subtract 4/10 from 4/10. So the answer is 3.

Use the same techniques for quesitons 4 through 6.

Use a calculator. That is just as much cheating as asking some random person on the Internet . Ask you mom, dad, and older sister just somebody that would know.
