There is definitely nudity. They even have a love making scene. It's nothing that someone who may be older and have seen R rated movies before, but may be too much for parents.

NO, absolutely NOT: the movie is rated R: no one under 17 admitted without parent or guardian.

I'm just disgusted with the way the rating systems have slipped... I haven't seen a SINGLE film being released as rated NC-17 in years.

My personal opinion is that "Grindhouse" should be rated NC-17 or X...

I wouldn't go to see "Grindhouse" or most movies of that nature.... and I would LIKE to see video games of the same genre place on an NC-17 rating. Kids see FAR too much crap.

I'm fairly certain there is no nudity in Death Proof, so you should be fine on that one. As best I can remember, there's only one bit of nudity in Planet Terror and it comes in a sex scene that's quick and should be easy for you to see coming. I don't remember if there's any nudity in the fake trailers, though, so be prepared to do some eye covering there.

So long as your parents don't mind them seeing some pretty heavy amounts of violence (and good for them, if that's the case), you should be clear. Just remember to cover some eyes on a few occasions.

The next problem, of course, remains getting them into the theater. Even though you may still be above the necessary age, the theater may have its own policy in regards to underage ticket-holders (an age for their guardian above 21, a parent-only policy).

From what I've heard about it, it should have been NC-17, no one under 17 admitted period.
I personally would not take anyone under 17 to it no matter what the circumstances!

the simple answer for the nine year old is hell no. he can wait the movie will be around. the 12 year maybe be able to handle this movie a little better but to keep the confusion down to a minimum no to him too. your mom should shake you if you do take her 9 year old baby to this movie.

R for strong graphic bloody violence and gore, pervasive language, some sexuality, nudity and drug use.
