I think the note story is an urban legend, but she was on a North Vietnamese ship and fraternized with the enemy. That should have gotten her jail time.

I am a Conservative, but let me tell you about Hanoi Jane. THE ****** IS A TRAITOR!!!!!!!
She was in North Vietnam when I was there in the South 1967-68. Had I known that then, I would have asked some of my F-105 pilot buddies, or a couple of guys I knew in Phoenix, to see if anybody could get a fix on her position and leave her on the Brown side of the grass. Both her and Kerry should still be there together.

Perhaps no one told you what she did in Vietnam. She quite literaly has the blood of american soldiers on her hands. When she went to the Hanoi Hilton, a soldier handed her a note then she gave it to a guard and then some soldiers were punished with death. Hanoi Jane and John Kerry spoke at the same anti war rallies. I consider her a traitor.
