when people starve to death, they don't technically starve. their body starts breaking down protein when there is no fat. usually, the body will take the protein from your heart and use it as energy and people die from complications in the heart.

yes because there are certain nutrients given from food that wouldn't be going into the body and the stomach acid would probably start eating away the the lining of the stomach giving the person ulcers and that wouldn't be good either.

Yes. Sadly while we overeat here in North America (the most obese continent on the planet) there are people starving to death in Third World countries. I remember when I was little & didn't want to finish my dinner, my mom would force us to eat every last bite. "There are people starving in Africa that would love to have this!" she said. "Well can I send it to them then?" I replied. We take our abundance for granted. What a gift to have so much food to never have to worry about going hungry. As an adult, I rarely throw any food away, out of the guilt my mother instilled in me.

It is not publicized, but in Mexico, people are poorer than dirt. A government that is corrupt and un-willing to face the hard facts. A system that does not extend itself to creating a prosperous economy with its populous by exposing them to become better through education and job training. If you leave the peasant on his land but don't allow him to be competitive with farming, then he will be taken in by evil from the narcos.

Yes. You are throwing food away everyday and yet babies are dying because they don't have anything to eat.

In Mexico, I heard that some people eat roadkill just to survive. Probably in America, and other countries too.

yes they do only they call it starvation. Look at the people in Africa or some of the other countrys that are suffering from a famine
