I like to gargle with some warm salt water....sipping ice water also helps as does warm chicken soup....I hope you feel better,,,,,,,,,,,,

A zinc lozenge is the best thing I have found. The other answers about warm soothing drinks are good too.

I would go the warm salt water trick too, they are both good healers. If the sore throat is caused from post nasal drip you might take a decongestant too.

you need to have a cup of hot tea with 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/2 lemon squeezed into the tea....that should help you out..
