which reality shows are truly worth keeping on tv?
i would keep americas next top model.. but really thats about it.

I don't know but I love 'em! Top Chef, Project Runway, Survivor, Amazing Race, America's Next Top Model, Road Rules, The Hills...mmm! Bring 'em on!

I'd say we need about as many as it takes to fulfill the economic model of the networks so that they can continue to subsidize their higher-end scripted shows.
Some reality shows turn a 15-1 profit or even greater, not hard to do when your writers aren't protected by the same unions that look out for their scripted counterparts.
(Bitter much? You bet.)

If were up to me... None!
TV was much better before every damn show became "reality" based. There hasn't been a truly great sitcom in almost ten years.

"Reality shows" is an oxymoron, on or off TV. It's no wonder that the rest of the world thinks we're idiots.

Okay, the better question would be: how real are those reality shows anyway? They're all pretty conditioned and staged in my opinion.

0. NONE.. I THINK REALITY SHOWS ARE A WASTE OF THE VIEWER AND THE ONES DOING IT! ALL THEY DO IS MAKE PEOPLE LOOK AND ACT STUPID ON TV..NOW A DAYS I GUESS THAT'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET ON TV.

We don't NEED any. We may enjoy a few like Amer. Top Model, but we don't need any. I enjoy The Bachelor, DWTS & American Idol. That's it.
