Well I don't know when it became like that, but I still think that some knowledge is being spread and received. Yes there are a lot of avatar games and all that. But there are also questions asking "Tips for High School" for people who want to know. I think on any site there is going to be a popular person, trolls and people who use the site for what it's for. That's kind of how it works. Also, it's not Y!A in general. Mostly it's this section. Which shouldn't surprise you because of how many teenagers are in this section. When you put a bunch of teens together on one site where you can ask and answer question, thumbs up or down people, star and everything else, you are bound to have some sort of popularity contest. And really, life is a popularity contest. There is always going to be someone who is more loved, who people like more, who people want to be around. There's no way to get around it unfortunately.
