Well I honestly do not feel as though I owe my folks anything, Yes they had me, but you know what? 8 months after they did they left me at the neighbors and never came back for me. No they didnt die or anything. They also lied on my birth certificate about their names, I spent 15 years looking for the wrong people. Once I did find my biological family I wish I hadnt. They are nothing like me, they have no morals, I am very grateful for the mom and dad that raised me, to me they are my real paretns and when they were alive, there was nothing I would do for them. So it has nothing to do with whether they gave you life, rather than they gave you A life

Nope, I was told that I was a mistake for most of my life by my mother. If I had a choice, I would have chosen a better mother but I didn't get the choice. So no, I will never thank her because I never felt wanted by her so why should I thank her for years of torture?
