Get the unpleasant things you have to do over with (procrastinating doesn't make them go away & knowing they're waiting can stress you out) then spend some time during the day doing something you enjoy (whether that's watching your favourite show, taking a walk, laughing with a friend, painting, playing guitar, fixing a bike, baking a cake. Whatever floats your boat.

Do things that make you happy & chances are you'll be happy! Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured. Some people run themselves ragged doing things for other people & never take time for themselves. Treat yourself to something nice. Nourish your soul. You deserve it.

Love yourself. You're the best friend you'll ever have.

I like a nice relaxing bubble bath by candlelight. With my cat & a can of coke at my side! Hey it works for me! I also paint (canvases & walls!) & write music.

Find your heart's song & then sing it!

:)
Peace out.

Take one day at a time. Stay in the moment. Remember each new day is a new opportunity to start a whole new life. Focus on all the good things that have ever happened to you and see the positive lessons that have come from the things you have considered negative even if it's just never do that again.

Life is not a destination it is a journey, enjoy the ride!

Yes. Every night make a gratitude list. - 10 things. They don't have to be big things: my breathing, I have a roof over my head, I am cozy in my bed, the stars are lovely tonight, there are fluffy clouds in the sky, the breeze is cool and floating, I'm grateful I can hear an airplane go by overhead, and so on.

Pretty soon you will be in a positive state of mind because you are a very fortunate person.

By doing what makes you happy. For example, I really enjoy playing volleyball and hanging out with my friends. So if I'm bored, what do I do? I call out a few friends and play volleyball.

Leave no regrets. Think things through before you speak or act, or it might just come back to bite you in the rear one day.

Stop to smell the flowers along the way. Life is a one-way road, and once you go past a point, you can't go back. Take it easy, and don't try to grow up too fast, or get through your life too quickly.

Don't dwell on the past. If you've done something wrong, something that you regret, fix the problem. Apologize if you've done something wrong. Don't let it slide. It'll lift a lot of weight off your shoulders.

Just be happy. Hang with your family and friends. Enjoy their company, and all they do for you. Don't take life for granted - it's too short.

Sometimes, trying to make someone else fell better can make you happier. Happy is sometimes made up of little bits and pieces during the day that you need to recognize. Not easy sometimes, but do-able.

Here's something that made my life happier: don't sweat the small stuff. Don't let anything trivial get to you. A couple of other things: Value and enjoy what you have, and serve God by serving others.

if you can take some time for yourself in a quiet place & meditate on what truly brings joy to your life and list them, that would be a big start.

after that you have to have the courage to make changes where needed to get to the happier....

.....for example; just an example - a person is able to identify that they enjoy the outdoors - however they work in a cubicle .... over time if they will have the courage to hunt down and take a job that helps them be outdoors, they will be happier.

- - - hope you get a good start - - -

OOO this is real easy... Take a look around the world. Think of all the choas and misery other people face, then take a look at your life.

EVEN if you don't have all the things you need, as long as you have shelter, food and HEALTH ~ you are doing better and are much happier then thousands of people around the world.
