I was just listening to a speech given by bush over the radio about the democrats and how their trying to cut funding and get troops out of Iraq and at the end of the speech he says we need to put our political views aside I will veto what ever I get until I get what I want. He also talks about congress taking to long to give him the bill and then says he will veto that bill and wait for another one? If it's such a big deal then approve what ever they give you so things can start moving. He's just trying to press his political views even though he says this isn't a time for that. who over voted for bush is an idiot he is one of the worst presidents in a long time I would take any one over him. I firmly believe a woman should not be president but I would take Hilary Clinton over him. It doesn't matter what he does now once he's taken out of office our troops will be removed from Iraq. Bush is an idiot why is that? This is the same guy that tried to get the draft back why vote for him?

Ok I would like to say I support my troops just not bush but look at it this way we have no real reason to be in Iraq for those of you who can remember back this far we went to war because of 9/11 we went to war for Bin Laden since then we have lost all trace to bin laden, attacked Iraq because of nuclear weapons that didn't exist, and supposed ties to bin laden that have since been proven were none existent mean while north korea continues to stock pile nuclear weapons with out trying to hide it and not talking about stopping and where sitting here worrying about a place we have destroyed and can do no real harm to us. Bush is trying to finish a war his father didn't get to finish he has other things to worry about. Korea, global warming, lack of allies all our allies that are in iraq with us are getting pissed at him. Bush is screwing our country how can you support him. Ever heard of the patriot act? there goes our bill of rights. You can't call yourself an american and support bush

Oh and were not at war were at a masacre for every one american their are 33 deaths we've lost like 4000 americans now I agree that's 4000 to many but that's nothing compared to what they have lost and that's nothing compared to how many we've lost in previous wars we need to get out of iraq

Just reading the answers Bush supporters gives makes me feel dumber...Bush hates our troops, he uses them as pawns in his sick little game, like when he says these spending bills have pork...all spending bills ever sent have some other items in them(including every one he signed with the republican congress you tard cons), those actually had more pork...it's a supplemental spending bill, not a troops bill...and lets look at where this money goes, because 97% of the previous 3 bills had nothing to do directly with troops, it was all to defense contractors and their ilk(which have stolen and lost billions I might add)...600 million for armor and supplies for troops in a 100 billion dollar bill, Bush is a funny little cokehead of a man.

Is it Bush that is the idiot or the Dem's. With Vietnam the Dem's only killed the locals in the Vietnam area. In part because the 1st world's economy is tied to oil, leaving the area could disrupt the economy of the world.

No we didn't go into the area for oil, but we may have to stay for it. You think the price for gasoline is high today, wait until Iraq goes into a self destruct mode like Lebanon & Yugoslavia did.

You want peace in the region? Ask yourself what are you doing to encourage it. Is the press taking a positive or negative leadership role? No the military can't get the Iraqis to stand up for their country, but the press & maybe even the left could if they didn't wish for the US to fall down in the mud!

I think what you are asking is 'why does bush think that Americans are idiots?'. Why can't congress put their 'political views aside' when his comment about vetoing until he gets what he wants is obviously his version of stiking to his 'political views'. I continue to be amazed at the things that our leaders say and continue to expect that we don't understand what it all means. I guess when we stand back and allow them to continue in office term after term, maybe that makes them think that the majority are in agreement but in truth, it's actually means that the majority has given up. When we as American citizen do nothing to effect the problem, although we don't deserve what we get, we do hae to live it which is where the majority of Americans are, I think.

It's good that you are listening. It's good that you are paying attention. Don't stop. I hope that you won't give up on this country and that you will try to impress your friends to feel the same - how important it is to stay involved

First of all the democrats sent a bill that would pull our troops out, Bush vetoed it. now they are sending a bill that will cut all funding for our troops, he said he will veto that too, if he didn't our troops wont have proper supplies or equipment, and since he vetoed the pullout bill they would be stuck over there without funding for at least another year. Bush is doing what is best for our troops. the democrats want to cut their funds so they can stay over there and die. if this happens the deaths of our troops will be on the democrats.

G.W. Bush isn't running for anything. He is trying to save your pitiful ignorant posterior. Bush is right in what he is doing with the dumbocrats in congress. The democrats are far too stupid to ever understand how much damage their attitude and actions have done to our country. You just take Hillary with you when you move to Iran. Do you already have your burka or will you have to go shopping before your trip? Every part of wrong is exactly what you are. You and the rest of the dumbocrats.

Actually, G. W. Bush, Jr. isn't an idiot, idiots were born that way and can't help themselves. He is a pompous fool. But at least his superiors (i. e. Chaney, Rove, et al) have corralled his superb ability to put his foot in his mouth and his unmatched propensity of making up new words. I guess that miniature speaker that they had implanted into his ear works!

i agree with what your saying. if we pulled out of Iraq now, then the terrorist will be here again to blow something else up. i to support our troops, not bush. i did not vote for bush. i told my aunt in law and her husband, who ever voted for him needs to be lined up and shot. her daughter said, well mama and daddy voted for him should they be shot? i said yes. his inauguration cast the tax payers to much money. that's when all his supporters should have been shot along with him.

24 Billion in pork in the bill. They knew he would not approve it with all the pork. They will back down. It is a no win situation for them. It is the Dems that are pushing their political views and using the troops as a pawn in their attempt.

Why is Bush such an idiot? So that 30% of the American voters have someone they can relate to.
