Why put a ''lol'' in your statement? I think the bravest thing a man can do is to say ''I do''. By doing so he is committing himself to a lifelong commitment. He is agreeing to stand beside her through good time and bad. If they have children he obligated to bring those child up in a home filled with love and respect. He is telling the world that he belongs to this one woman and this one woman belongs to him. He is saying he is strong enough to endure hardships and woes, love and joy, present and future commitments made by both as they walk through life together. There will be sunny days and rainy ones, joyful days and sorowful ones, finacial woes and vacations that will never be forgotten. The bonds of holy matrimony is a bond which should be a life time bond, even though 50% of all marriages end in divorce. My mom and dad have been married for 55 years and they are the bravest people I know. They have faced many hardships together as well as many triumphs. They raised 4 children through hard times, not giving them everything they asked for but never depriving them of anything they needed. Love filled my home. Today they are the proud grandparents of 6 beautiful grandchildren. They have worked hard all their life to have a life together. There has never been a moment in my life when I did not feel loved because they made sure, no matter what, that I knew I could depend on them for anything and everything. The bravest thing a man can do is to say ''I do''. BUT, not just say it, commit his life to his vows and make sure, no matter what, those vows hold true till death they do part. My dad is the bravest man I know and I can only hope to be half the man he was.

To fall in love.. its the bravest thing anyone can do for the ups and downs pains and problems..when you fall in love you lose your pride and sometimes even your dignity to be with the woman you love, thats pretty a deep sacrifice I think.

No, for real, I'd say be sensitive and show his true feelings. It's hard for a guy to show how he feel, for fear of not being masculine. If a man were to cry in front of a bunch of people (about something that really mattered), I would be very impressed.

Not so funny,in this day and age thats quite an accomplishment,i would also include holdding her purse while shopping,running to the corner store at that time of the month,how about just remainning faithfull instead of being a player?

So, i don't know if someone thought the same thing....

I think it's when the man is a man... when he loves a woman, he tells the world, he wants everyone to know it and he ain't afraid to show it, even if it means being vulnerable.. if he cries over something (only in her presence, not in front of others...) because he trusts her & she's not going to see him weak for that moment.. she'll see him human... when he protects her and is there for her... not to say he's her hero, nor to show off to his friends that he has done something heroic... it's only because he wants her to be his and he wants her to feel safe....

am i dreaming of such man?? yes... i want a man, not a boy... :) ..... still looking....
