Did Anyone Get Their Mouth Washed With Soap When You Were 15+ Old?

I am against the ol' soap in the mouth punishment. I don't think it works. I had it done to me as a kid, mom squirted Palmolive on a toothbrush and brushed my teeth with it. I still remember that horrible taste. All it did was teach me not to curse around my mother.

I was wondering if anyone was punished/or actually punished someone with this when you were over the age of 15? I know that it is to "prevent" swearing at a young age but am wondering if it continued for anyone in teen years.

I never got my mouth washed out with soap, I just got a good old fashioned butt whipping.
