EBS=Emergency Broadcast System. You can't escape, the end times turmoil. That's when all hell breaks loose and everyone tries to save themselves. Some tv and/or radio station will be stupid enough to use the EBS. Betcha!
Betcha newspapers will cover the event for publication in the Heavenly Times. What do you think?

Here's the funny thing... the EBS is a Cold War relic that should have been shut down long ago. Alas, as is always the case, the bureacracy goes on and millions are wasted. Would you agree that 9/11 would be a perfect time to use the EBS? I would. However, private news networks got the word out long before the lazy jackoffs at the EBS even knew what to do. I say if (arguably) the biggest emergency the US has ever faced did not trigger the EBS, what the hell would?

One time an EBS alert was sent out by mistake to radio and television stations. Everyone took a look at the news wire, realized there was nothing going on ... and didn't use it. Therefore, it's a pretty pointless exercise at this point.

According to my biblical beliefs... there won't even be time to warn anyone. The bible say that man will not know the day nor the hour to when Jesus return, which will strike the beginning of the end of the world. So I doubt they even have time to flip that switch. :-)

Zorro, it is an amusing notion and might make one hell of a funny sketch on Saturday Night Live. Why don't you turn your vivid imagination to writing for them?

if we'll know something - we'll prevent it. but we'll never know when it's gonna happen for real. and "the end" probably will be caused by giant bomb explosion
