lol, I agree. I am always waiting on my husband to get ready. He never is rarely ready when I am. If on the off chance he is ready before me, he complains about having to wait. I just laugh and remind him there are many times when I am so fed up I go wait in the car. Sometimes I'm in there for 10 minutes. By the time I get this fed up, I've usually waited in the house for half an hour.
I would be curious about what the men would say about this situation? I know part of my husband's issue is his facial hair. It's not like our legs that don't show if we miss a spot. He has to have his facial hair all lined up and even. I just shower, get dressed and go. I seriously get up 30 minutes before I have to leave in the morning. He gets up about an hour and a half before leaving. I think he just likes taking his time because he will literally take 15 minutes to eat a bowl of cereal.

I have never once taken longer than my girlfriend or any other woman to get ready. Women take longer to get ready, that is a fact. Men complain about it because we do not realize that women only look nice because it takes them so long to get ready. Go out with him looking like crap one night and he might not complain after that.

A couple of minutes is fine, it's when girls take hours to get ready that annoys us. We don't care if the buckles on your shoes match the buttons on your purse, it is unnecessary. Shaving legs and armpits takes a max of 15 minutes, hair we are flexible on, you should have an outfit picked out beforehand. Perfume takes seconds to apply, it only takes about 5 minutes to clip your nails (which can be done while doing hair) and you can shave while taking a shower. So what the heck else are you girls doing in there. Your boyfriends like you for you, you don't need to go the extra mile for them. Sure sometimes its nice, but it also may be futile.

Let a guy switch places with a woman and after he sees what she has to do to get ready, he'll stop complaining about them taking so long to get ready.

No - my wife doesn't take very long at all getting ready.
Last Thursday we had our shopping list all written out and she said she would be about 3 minutes putting her lipstick on and told me to go and wait in the car.
After waiting approximately 4 hours 7 minutes I drove the 16 miles to Asda, did all the shopping, had a coffee, went to a football match and then drove back. Just as I pulled up she appeared at the front door, looked at me and said, "Oh, hang on a minute - I forgot to comb my hair. . . . . "

I know, it's really annoying. Whenever someone like my dad tells us to hurry up and get ready (my mom, 3 sisters and I), we are ready and out in the car and here he's not even ready yet. Guys are weird....

Maybe the men start first so they end first and get inpatient.
