Diary of the Dead is set to come out later this year and is said to be a prequel to the original film Night of the Living Dead... it's low budget and shot from a one person perspective, unlike the last one Land of the Dead... At last George A. Romero returns to his roots with this one... he has stated that it's to be his last Zombie film and I sure hope it turns out as good as Night & Dawn !!!

Yes. In August of last year Romero announced the film Diary of the Dead. The fifth in his dead series. It is set to be released this year.
