I am going on a trip this summer and I wanted to go somewhere in the Tenesee, Kansas, Virginia area. Does anyone have any ideas? And can you please also give me a hotel that is good to stay at while I am going to there? And attractions and stuff.

I have lived in Virginia my entire life. It depends on where you want to go in VA geographically. In my hometown, you can't go wrong with VA Beach. There are many great places to see in the surrounding cities of Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and Suffolk. Williamsburg will be celebrating their 400th aniversary this year. And Busch Gardens is nearby. If you are visitng Richmond, the state capital, Kings Dominion is a great amusement park that is 20 miles away. If you are heading to northern va, Potomac Mills is a great place to shop. If you are heading to western va, Luray Caverns is an interesting place to look around. And the Eastern Shore is nice.

Wine Trail
Michie Tavern
The Paramount Theater
The Charlottesville Pavilion

A good hotel is Hampton Inn.

Virginia has a lot to offer, mostly historical

Jamestown
Colonial Williamsburg (and busch gardens a famous amusement park if you enjoy that sort of thing)
Many battlefields from the civil war...fredericksburg, manassas

The appalachian trail runs through western va if you enjoy camping/hiking

va beach is a popular area (kinda trashy now in my opinion though)

Richmond is extremely historical, go down monument ave and look at the statues of confederate soldiers. visit the edgar allen poe museum. go see the statue of bojangles robinson.

northern va - mount vernon (george washington's house) and gunston hall (george mason's home)
