I Am Sam - I cried when I saw the adverts for this film,
also King Kong, the origional made me cry when I was little, I went to see it when it came out here, I was still sobbing when
I got into my car, and I had been to the toilets before.....You should have seen the looks on my kids faces....They did not cry....oo also dumbo - the bit were he goes to see his mum when she's locked up and she sticks her trunk out of the bars - I'm welling up just thinking about it........I'm just a big baby really. I have so many films that make me cry too many to mention.....ooo Kramer vs Kramer is another gudn.
Also have to add The Passion Of The Christ, its just started on channel 4, I've only seen it once, don't know if I can watch it again.

Green Mile... I cry every time. Jon Cofee (can't remember real name) and Tom Hanks give, in my opinion Oscar winning performances..... amazing film.
AND
Who will love my Children? The story of a woman who, knowing she is dying of cancer, looks for new mummies and daddies for her 10 children as she knows her drunken husband wouldn't cope. It breaks not only your heart from a mother's point of view, but also from a child's.
Get your hankies out.
Schindlers List is the most disturbing film I have ever seen. I saw it at the cinema, and will never watch it again. I sobbed all the way thro, particularly at the little girl in the red coat. I was so affected by the film .... I felt down for days.

It's very, very old but it has to be "Imitation of Life"
An widowed actress obtains success but doesn't care for her daughter as much as she cares for her career. Once older the daughter falls in love with her mothers man. Her coloured maid has a white daughter who refuses to admit that the black woman is her mother. The mum dies of a broken heart when she leaves home to work in a sexy bar. Final scene is really heart wrenching as the daughter runs after her mothers funeral procession begging forgiveness and admitting just how much she has always loved her.

Withnail & I. such a funny movie, but when they part at the end it's so sad cause you know they're going their seperate ways after years of friendship. R.E.Grants performance is amazing. also Stand By Me, for the same reason. basically a good buddy movie where the buddy's move on. the end of a friendship is always sad.
