Well.. don't lose your time thinking in the things as the way they already are.. but if you've got the chance to change them..to make them better... I think the real matter in all this it's that you want to have color bubbles on your bath and I get that because I love the idea so Why don't you pour some vegetable colors to the soap foam, remember use only one vegetable color or two if you are making a secondary color combination, to get green foam use blue and yellow, to do purple foam use red and blue, to do pink froth use a few drops of red .. I don't know.. maybe it could work.. and a little drops of your favorite perfume or drops of strawberry oil or vanilla oil and voila !

The bubble skin is so thin that it does not have the ability to carry the color in any concentration and the individual bubbles scatter the colors of the light and thus look white. If the bubbles had enough color to be colored to the eye, they would be thick and coat you with the same color - try blowing bubbles in thin chocolate syrup or unset red jello then scoop them up on your finger to see what that color would be on your skin. It is supposed to be a bath - not a dye job.

The bubbles are not white, they are a rainbow of colors because they act as a prism since so much light is passing through them. Unless your speaking of the soap suds that are in the tub, then the answer the dye does not merge.

The colour dye doesn't stick to the bubble surface, but pools in one small spot, check next time. There's a U.S. company now that makes a product that will create coloured bubbles.

I agree with you. It's kind of like bubbble gum and when you buy blue it ought to look blue. Let's start a petition or go to Science and Math and ask Those eggheads!!
