i think good is better, and no, good doesnt have to be viewed as weak,,,,,,, just like women, who are nurturing, in the past were seen as weak, now that is changing
but it takes good people standing up strong, yes sometimes forgiving,, but not feeling obligated to forgive,,,,, nor forgetting,,,,
i feel i am a good person, i care about people and the earth, but i will be "in your face" in a quick minute if a see you abusing someone or an animal, either physically or verbally.
i care about you and your feelings, but dont let me see you slap/hit a child in front of me,,,, i will likely either call the cops or hit you!
i value life, but there again, i will end yours before i allow you to end mine, or my childs,,,

You're better off being bad. I've been a good person, had a good heart, and always tried to tell the truth and do the right thing in my life. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that if you are a person like that, you are just someone others see as a tool they can use to further their agenda. Having a heart and a conscience are major detriments to anyone over the age of 21. I used to be much more optimistic and less cynical. Instead, after finishing school and working a variety of jobs in the business world, I've seen first-hand that nice people really do finish last sometimes and you have to look out for yourself. Believe me, that's what everyone else is doing. Furthermore, sometimes honesty is the worst policy. Some things are better left unsaid or unadmitted to.

One man sees a starving child on the street. He notices that the child is wearing a golden locket, and wonders why the child hasn't tried to sell it yet...Perhaps it's not really gold? So he goes up and asks the child, who answers that it was the last thing her mother gave to her before she died. The man nods and asks if he can look at it a bit closer. She agrees...only if he holds it for a little bit. He unclasps it from her neck and inspects it carefully...seeing what the child didn't seem to--
The locket was of very good quality and could give her enough money to feed her for a while.
He then dashes into his car and drives off, taking the necklace with him.
Okay:
Different man, same situation up until he realises what the necklace is worth. He informs the child as to the locket's value, but she refuses--the locket was her mother's and she wouldn't sell it for anything. The man nods and asks the girl if she has a guardian. When she tells him she doesn't, he takes her to an authority that can place her in a good home. He continues to visit her after she is adopted.
For her birthday, he gives her a bracelet to match the necklace.
Now that I've given you two random stories, I'll answer your question with a question:
Which man would you rather have placed in your life?

I suppose it depends upon the context of the evil. There is an issue of expoitation and opportunism that accompanies evil, whereas 'good' does not really have as much deliberation in its execution (random acts of decency not witnessed by anybody etc).
Forgiveness and the like is a whole different subject altogether. Decency and forgiveness are not necessarily the same thing...

perhaps this is what is meant by "the meek shall inherit the earth" problem is, after all those money grubbing jerks are finished with it, I'm not sure I would want it. I believe with every fibre of my being that honesty, integrity, and charity are way better than evil doers. I am old enough to realize that their are no guarantees where this lifestyle will take one, sometimes you end up being a pawn in an evil chess game, but so long as one is true to him/herself then evil doesn't win.

Being good is better and easier. For instance, if you always tell the truth, you never have to remember what you told someone.
Do good people succeed in business? Sure. I have a good job and even though there are people out there who make much more than me, my life is comfortable and my wife loves me.
I remember her at all important events (anniversaries, etc.) and get her gifts for no apparent reasons on other days. My conscience in clean so I can sleep well. I have friends. People out there that I feel I have to watch my back around aren't my friends and I avoid them as much as possible.

Good, always.
Those that think good people are weak are sadly mistaken.
It takes a lot more strength to be good then to be evil. It's
easy to be evil and shows a massive character flaw.

Don't understand the question?Asking to chose between good and evil,is like trying to determine what truth is,everyone says Truth is honesty! But what is honesty, which brings us back to ,good and evil.Does one asks,God why he made us,and is he answering,or do some seek the devil in hopes of entering heaven,i don't think so!To Me Good is an extension of Jehovah God,Almighty and everything hes created! And Evil is for people, who enjoys so to speak,Live it up! But lets look at the word EVIL,for a second reverse it and what do you have,LIVE! ENOUGH SAID.....
