Off certainly. Your fish don't really need the light, it's mostly there for your enjoyment.

Leave them off. It would be a fire hazard to leave live electricity over water unattended for five days. Fish don't need light and leaving the lights on for five days in a row will mess up their day/night cycle. They need dark to sleep. This is very important also if you have any nocturnal fish. It will stress all of your fish out if you leave the lights on but especially fish like catfish or knifefish.

Leave it off.

on- power outages, electric shock, fire hazard, algae growth, 24/7 daylight

off- darkness could cause them to be sluggish, but during the day they will still receive partial sunlight.

i vote off.

How about on a timer? Or at least in a room with a curtain/blind partly open.
