I checked your questions and all of them very rude. None of it sounds like anything you believe, it sounds like your just trying to get people to agree to really crazy ideas. Is this some experiment or paper you are trying to write? If that is the case your information will be very bias because of the way you obtained it.

That's a tough situation. Yes, I think an overweight spouse can make you look sloppy......especially for a successful businessman. However, most women would say you are a pig for saying such a thing. Maybe he's not treating her right and she's depressed. There are many reasons that people gain weight. Instead of dumping her because she's bad for his image (that's definitely the wrong and HORRIBLE thing to do), maybe he should try to help her figure out why she's gaining weight. I don't think it's shallow for a person to want their significant other to want to look their best for them. However, divorcing over this issue would be incredibly shallow and if I were you, I would steer clear of insulting your brother by talking bad about his wife. Maybe he doesn't care that she's overweight. If not, then good for him... and it's really none of your business. There are more important things in life than being successful at your business.....love, family, relationships should be the priority. This whole question actually makes me a little sad. There are many issues here and it's hard to answer without knowing all the details. Who are you to say that she's weak willed and lazy? How do you know? Why do you care about your brother's appearance at the golf club? Why do you care what your brother's wife looks like? Shouldn't you be concerned about her health instead of what she looks like? Are you more concerned about keeping up the "family" appearance than your brother's happiness. If so, then maybe you (and your whole family) are very shallow. Are you shallow? Are you in top shape? Maybe someone thinks you are bad for the family image....and how would you feel if someone told you that? These are all questions you should ask yourself.

mayb they could get into doing excercises or goin for walks or the gym together. Encouragement is a more successful strategy then being demanding. Besides its up to your brother if he doesnt mind and still loves her n finds her attractive then good on him. Its whats on the inside that counts the most.
If he doesnt like the way his gf is then just remember the key factors of effective communication. You dont know how someone will react by being put down, possibilities are endless.

his wife may be huge and big but that's something he will never hear--don't judge people by there size --this is very selfish and weak to care what people at the club think--do you answer to them, do they pay your bills, so why care what they think. The woman may be depressed or suffering from a medical condition .

Well aren't you just the Ãitch on wheels? Spending your day blasting Christians and poor people (whom you call "low caste") and now your sister in law for the pleasure of a million strangers.
You have the money (supposedly)... hire yourself a therapist.

Hmmm. Well, since you don't look like a supermodel, I think he should give you an ultimatum too--get plastic surgery or be disowned!

Offer to go to the gym with her. Maybe she just needs to have a friend.
