Every human being can become as healthy to prolong life up to 300 years maximum. The average life span of a human being in the sacred scriptures has been assumed as hundred years. As of present the average life span of a human being lies between 70 to 80 years. In the circumstances how is it possible to prolong the life span to 300 years?

The heartbeat of an average human being is 72 and the considered life span hundred years. What if one could reduce the heartbeat and increase the life span!

When I was nearing self realization in 1993... I was able to reduce my heartbeat to 29. For all practical purposes I had gained absolute control over sleep. I could now work round the clock almost 23 and half hours a day. It was an experience that can only be felt. A mere 6 to 10 minutes of sleep was equivalent of eight hours of peaceful sleep.

One day I decided to further decrease my heartbeat. Sooner the thought was invoked by me... my soul atman within my heart prompted that I must never indulge in reducing my heartbeat to 24 or below. It was instant death at 24. For a few moments I reduce my heartbeat to 26... I realized the gravity of the situation. Increased palpitations in my heart confirmed the dictates of my soul atman within.

I was sure for now that any human being by decreasing the heartbeat can proportionately increase ones life span. That was the ultimate of physical endurance and capability.

Mental capability of a human being is reflected in Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed... all of whom gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) in their lifetime.

Gaining enlightenment and finally salvation is the ultimate crux of life. There is nothing more to achieve for human being in the cosmic world. Reaching the 8.4 millionth manifestation... our soul atman liberates forever from the cycle of birth and death... one finally reaches the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism). I firmly believe that a human is composed of three components, the body, mind, and spirit. To achieve ultimate human health, I believe each one of these components must be at it's optimum. I doubt whether any regular human being has ever been able to ahieve this but I suppose philosophically, it is possible.

I also believe these 3 components to be interdependent, meaning that a drop in mental and emotional well-being will directly correspond to a drop in physical well-being, and vice versa. Therefore, in addition to each component being at it's optimum, they must also improve in proportion to each other at approximately the same rate to achieve optimum health.

Things we can do to improve physical health include a good nutrition, exercise, and sleep. There are a lot of fad diets out there, but I firmly believe that as long as the food we eat is all natural (organic) AND balanced, we can eat just about anything we want, including saturated fats. Margarine was touted as a health food but it actually kills you. I would probably steer clear of pork, shellfish, reptiles, and any kind of scavenger though.

The mind, I suppose would include reading, thinking, having discussions, and to keep learning. Emotional health includes effective stress management and learning to let go.

Spiritual health is a controversial issue. I'm personally a Christian so I find my spirituality in the God of the Bible. But the point is that spirituality is an essential component of human existence and no matter what religion we subscribe to, we will seek spirituality somewhere.

I'd say less than 5% body fat, a resting pulse of 70, and BP of 100 over 70 would be the ultimate in health. Also, able to run without tiring, and lift reasonable large amounts.
That's my son....but he's in the Army.

when we say health we should have to give importance to the bassic unit of life... that is the cells and its components.................................. we talk to much, not knowing what is health all about. When you have a favorable well functioning and efficient cells, undergoing a natural metabolism and physioloigy then you can consider it physically healthy. if you have a physically fit cells then you have a healthy organs and a system and a body... when you say mental health, you are pertaining to what we call emmotions and its surroundings which is governed with actual environment. when you are physically fit yetr you are inside a detention cell then you are not emotionally healthy.... a healthy mind must have a functional body and a peaceful environment... religion is not 100% assurance of peacefully mindedness. it is the actual state of your mind as with respect to your current environment...

The human body has the ability to totally heal itself and maintain optimum health indefinitely. Unfortunately we are just discovering this ability and have not yet fully learned how to trigger and fully support the bodies own natural healing abilities.

I honestly ont know how you can become that disiplined, I do however know that it must be a huge strain socially and personal happiness has to take a back burner when a human tries to achieve this.

i think if you eat healthy (lay off fat, salt), exercise moderately,,,,,, practice a safe/and moderate lifestyle to the best of your ability,, and find calmness of spirit and interest and joy in life,,,, you stand a great chance of being healthy,,,,,, but the biology of the body, in some cases, things happen to make us unhealthy that we can do nothing about,,,,,

well, if a human being wants to be very healthy, he won't be happy at all, cuz he won't be allowed to do many many things.... just to keep healthy.
