No, I don't think it's wrong to vote for your own answer
And it is not against Yahoo policy either, or you wouldn't be able to.
I do think it odd though, that you can vote for your own answer as best but can't give yourself a thumbs up!
I don't vote for my own answer on a question where any of my contacts have posted an answer to the same question.
I do on other questions.

I hope not, yes I vote my own answer for best, hey you get 1 point for voting, and an additional 10 if yours wins.
As far as it being wrong, or against Yahoo!'s policy, I have no idea!

then it is not wrong...
but if you vote it as the best just to get the 10 pts. ...
then it is.. but who cares??
it is not like we guys are gonna get some cash for being the
top scorer... :)
