Since the "mythical" troy was found to be a real place via the finding of its ruins there is some vestige of truth to the Iliad. Achilles, like many famous and able warriors has had legends built around the truth of his existence.
George Washington did not chop down a cherry tree and tell the truth. The fliers of the Layette Espadrille were not fantastic fliers from the first day they stepped into an aircraft. MacArthur was an egoist of tremendous talent, and, he would let men die to achieve unneeded victories.

Well no one really knows because the story(The Iliad) was written so long ago that it is really hard to know for sureif Achilles ever existed or the Black Ships ,The River Styx Or Achilles mother Thetis of the sSilver Feet and his Olympian Father Zeus (even though his father that took care of him was a mortal with a way with a sword .... well it just might be a story that Homer wrote A really long time ago.)

Go to Wikipedia.com and do a search for Achilles there is a LOT of info on Achilles the Mythological Hero written of in the Illiad. Most of the accounts in the epic poem are considered fiction, however with the discovery of what is considered to be the Lost City of Troy, Achilles station as a character of mythology might need to be re-examined...Of course just because we discover places and or events depicted in mythology, that doesnt mean that Man and the Gods of Olympus intermingled and such...If Achilles did exist, his legacy was grossly exaggerrated, although his exploits might not have been...

ya there is some truth its all about kloning the klones aint worth **** and you can killem by the millions nobody else is going to help ybecause they are all religious but want to congregate and savataje. The " a" "chill" is from there body temperature they are chilly most temperatures of them below 73 degrees.

that is really for each person to decide. you can either put some true into a myth or non at all. i think that it had to start some where. it is probably very deluted by now
