Yep, but not to look thinner. If you constantly hold your stomach muscles in they became strong and help build your abs muscles.

I always try to tighten my stomach mussels. I figure kill two birds with one stone. It makes me look thinner and gives me a workout at the same time

Yes, in a matter of fact, i can breathe and hold it at the same time. The tactic is useful for those who could do that.

yep sometimes. i dont really have to anymore though :) 300-400 crunches a night for a month paid off :p its easier when you suck in when you're walking its harder when you're sitting and your stomach looks bigger anyways when we sit :)

Oh, yes, all the time. Despite my petiteness, I do have quite a belly and it's so embarrassing! And I can't lose it by exercising!
