The 3 outfielder you already have are better than Ordonez and Patterson. Hoffman is someone you could use but the other 2 arent as good as what you have now. Next question...who would you drop....these 3 for 1 deals sometimes look good on the surface but ultimately you are doing a 3 for 3 because 2 guys you already have need to be cut. There is nothing wrong with dealing someone like Pujols if it helps your team....this deal doesnt help you at all. Also it leaves you without a 1st baseman so now you need to drop a 3rd guy to fill your 1st base slot (so now the deal becomes Pujols and 3 cut players for Patterson, Ordonez and Hoffman....doesnt sound very appealing now, does it) You could use a SS and a lot of pitching, if you are willing to deal Pujols you should ask for a top SS and 2 good pitchers (you have a couple of pitchers that can be dropped). Not a good deal at all!

I wouldnt do it. Pujols will give great offensive numbers, that you wont get out of Patterson and Ordonez. Hoffman is getting up there in age and might not be the most reliable. So no.

You seriously need pitching help so don't make this trade. Ask him to trade you some decent relievers and good starters because you definitely need some. Albert Pujols is the best player in the business and he's worth so much more than what he offered you so ask for more until he goes to his maximum.

it dosent look like you are hurting for saves and your outfield looks good so do you really want to get rid of pujols for players that wont do much better than the players you already have?

Reject it. You already have 2 star OF, and a blooming star, and you have 2 solid closers. I need to ask one question though-why do you have Mike Stanton?
