Ducks can be an exceptional source of mirth, so more of them would be quite beneficial.

However, if you've truly lost ALL of your mirth, I'd suggest spending some time with a platypus (or platypi if possible). They have a much higher concentration of mirth.

Ducks of the genus 'Aix' are particularly helpful when one has fallen upon forlorne times and for one whose mirth is only vestigal memories from a time so long ago that one could not hope to recover them by any simple means.
