My husband always bails out of the room and I have to sit there, make an interested face and listen.
I don't have the heart to tell her I'm not interested.

Sounds like my sister in law's mothe r-in -law. She's about 60 and has really big boobs, and the license plate on her car reads "JUGS". I teel ya, somethings gotta be done about these horny old grannys! lol

Have you tried changing the subject?
If that doesn't work than you'll just have to come right out and tell her you don't want hear about this stuff.
What is it with women when they get older?! My mother in law likes to hang around our backyard in her thong bikini and she does look like she is in her 70's!!! Our neighbors can definitely see her because we have a low fence in the back...so embarrassing

tsk tsk..poor woman is lonely and needs to talk and someone to listen..I mean dont you sometimes fake to be interested in some of your boyfriends story and or your friends stories, when you know they are boring ? why not do it for a poor old lady ? hehe..kidding, if you dont want to listen to it, then dont, get up and make an excuse like i have to go to a dentist appointment or just flat out explain why you dont like to listen to her rant about her sexcapades..

He needs to bail you out. My husband will say stuff like "Um, Mokey, can you help me make this coffee in the kitchen?". Or , I'll say, "Well, I'd better go help Brad with that". It usually works.

Try changing the subject or looking uninterested every time she brings it up, she should get the hint. Tread carefully because its your mother in law, dont be too blunt or rude.
