I think the only way is to sand, stain and re-finish the table top.
but I could be wrong. If you have to it's pretty easy and kinda fun and rewarding.

You need to take the surface back to remove old wax or polish. Rub 2 or 3 times with white spirit or meths dry the surface then start re-polishing to restore finish. If that does not work then you have probably damaged the varnish too, which means you really need a professional. If you want to try DIY: take off varnish by abrading with very fine damp wet and dry paper until the ring is removed then re-varnish in thin caots to match the existing colour. Polish then wax

The white hazy marks are in the wax used on the table. Heated objects set on them draws moisture out of the wood and into the surface coating (be it wax or clearcoat). You need to remove the old coating and repolish. This may be accomplished with fine steel wool (not the soap pads). Hopefully, it is in the wax only and not a coating such as poly, shellac or varnish. Thats where sanding would be necessary.
