hi, i went to this takeaway today and got some burgers, one for my bro and one for me. when we went home and started eating, it was bitter as hell and we took a look at it, the burger (meat) was burnt, it was black, and much too overcooked, we both couldn't eat it, it was very bad. it has happened many times and my mom complains that it doesn't taste good, it smells as well,. but today it was really really bad, i keep telling the guy not to over cook it. and today my mom told me to go and show him it, so i went to the shop and told the guy, it's overcooked, uneatable, check it out. he got angry and said "THIS IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST TIME I AM DOING THIS". he asked me to give him the burgers(which were slightly eaten). and then he threw the money on the table roughly and said to me, GET OUT AND DON'T COME BACK AGAIN. i got so angry, i stopped there for a minute, whether i should hit him or not, and i just walked out of the shop, and then he said take the money. the guy was about 50.

If this is a privately owned business, and this man is the owner - other than boycotting his restaurant, you can't do much. If it is a franchise, then you need to get a letter off to head office with this man's name, and still find another place to find your burger's.
Remember this - this man's behavior say's nothing about who you are (especially since he doesn't even know you) - but his behavior says alot about what kind of person HE is.
Of course you did the right thing in not hitting him. Violence is never the way to go unless it's to defend yourself from attack.
I hope this helps.

Thinking about hitting him was the right thing to NOT hitting him was an even better thing to do . Now you are not in jail and his shop will be gone soon enough. So you win for being the bigger person.

You didn't do anything wrong.
You're the customer.
The burgers were burnt.
He should have treated you with more respect.
There's no reason he should have overreacted like that.
You shouldn't apologize.
He should be the one apologizing.
Find another place to get burgers, it's not a big deal.

Is it the only joint around or place or u find the food so pleasing that u r just repeating the mistake time and again. but if you want to revenge for your insult than advise people to not to visit the restaurant.
