I received my M.A. in History in 2 years. I was also a Teaching Assistant (which helped to pay for the degree). That was in 1982. I went full time.
My second Masters- in Library Science took 4 years. I took 1 class a semester and went during the summers. If I went full-time, it would have taken 1 year. Most make in 2 years going part-time and taking more classes during each term.That was in 1995.

Yes, an ME degree in 1.5 yrs after BS degree.
