i want to watch one but i am in alone the night and think i will freak, do you watch scary movies ALONE? and do you not freak out like you have to sleep with the light on and you keep checking there is no boogieman under your bed?

I tend to stop the film half way through if I'm on my own. Then I have to watch a kiddy movie for a while with all the lights on.
I didn't just admit to that, :-/

No way! And I'm a lot older than you. I can't even go to the loo on my own afterwards. When I go to bed afterwards, I race up the stairs looking behind me in case someone's looking at me through the glass of the front door. Maybe you should just watch a Disney movie.

If it's in the daytime, I can watch anything alone - no biggie. If it's at night - NO WAY! Even if I do watch one during the day, and am totally fine thoughout the day, when it comes time to go to bed I become a huge fraidy cat, remembering what happened in the movie and wondering "what if that really could happen..." Especially when it comes to supernatural and demon movies...

i never in a million years watch a scary movie alone! and whenever i watch a scary movie i sleep with my parents for the next 3 weeks!

Yeah i love scary movies IL watch them on my own when my husbands is nights the scarier the better I know they are not true so I'm not frightened

OK......I am 25 and for me it depends on the movie.....if it is really scary then I will ask a friend to come over and watch it with me....and then I insist that they stay the night!

The only thing I don't like watching alone is "Stephen Kings IT" I have a deep seated fear of clowns and for weeks afterwards I have to run everywhere for fear of Pennywise being right on my tail!

Yes but I sh** myself going up to bed. If I've been drinking then I'm not too bothered. The shining is one film i won't watch alone.
