gave the daughter my old laptop with just expired norton. she downloaded AVG and we cannot uninstall norton at all and now there is a conflict there is no button in add and remove to uninstall please help thanks

Well first i have norton and i take out my hard drive every year but first delete AVG then norton and then get AVG back on. I am switching to AVG now

with me i dont know how to get rid of it but i just right hand click on the norton in the line on the bottom and disable it.
Good Luck. Or you could try phoning an internet phoneline.

i had the same problem i just went to add/remove and click on remove and norton was deleted hope that works for you

Best thing is to remove it manually, go to desktop>search>
files and folders>type in norton>search. right click to delete.
