I have a very funny (and true) excuse for a time I was late but I'd like to hear other peoples true stories about their most outlandish scenarios that set them up for being late for work. Once I've read the stories I'll share mine....

It wasn't funny at the time... When I was prg with my first daughter, I had "morning sickness" 24/7. One particular morning was really bad. I finally got dressed and was on my way to work. During traffic, I felt particularly sick... Although I didn't puke, my stomach was already empty by then, I gagged so hard that I peed!! EEEWWWWW! I had to drive home to change and get my car seat cleaned... there was no way I was going to leave it like it was... Can you imagine trying to get that smell out?? My boss was female and understood; Don't know how I would have explained that had my boss been male!

I sat on a donut that my wife had placed on my car seat, wearing cream pants. Looked like I crapped myself, had to go get changed.
