Fifteen Jobs is not even in the Federal micro business category. The Dept. of Commerce list $25M as a Small business.

Are you paying those 15 $1.66M each.

Go big Rib Shack Go

My apology for not answering you more directly. For years I have seen many people that think they have a business and don't even qualify as the samllest of small business.

I did Government Contracting for years until the Government re clasified Small Business as $25million per year. That eliminated the so called Small Business set aside work.

Taxes No refund for this short bus only pay pay pay.

As much as I love this country I really do not like paying more than 1/2 my income in state and federal tax.

I know I should have incorporated my Construction business years ago but I didn't. Year after year I get audited for not paying tax on expences it would take months to prove the money was used to buy concrete for the federal government etc.

Once they stole $22K of a final payment. Over a dispute on a previous contract. They claimed the job was done to fast therefore I must have had more employees than I claimed. I went to Federal Court over it it took 7 years The Judge agreed with my claim that the job went better than expected. Ordered the DOL to fefund the $$$. I'm still waiting.

Still kidding yourself are you . You do not earn that money or even pay a tax .
The people who eat your food and the workers who serve and prepare it are the ones paying for it all . You are only doing what you can do and by using money the work stored in paper from that work you are able to prosper and have more then them . Would you pay the cook more if the only reason people came was his cooking . The servers more if they came to see them as in hooters . Each person earns his own way and you profit from them all .
They certainly would be doing something someplace and if it where not for you profiting from them and others like you they would have a lot more pay.
So you do not have a lot more income and are not forced to pay more you have chosen to take more and pay for it with the others labor .
No one who provides a service can pay a tax .
You must produce something from the land to pay a tax . And even then it is not a tax it is tribute for allowing you to work the land .
You are what I call a feeder . Some one who feeds off the work of others and claims they are contributing more and so deserve more Its the american way . .

I haven't had a refund for years. I always try to be on the hairy edge of under-withheld so that I just need to pay a little bit when I send in m,y tax return.

A refund is really a free loan you gave to the government by letting them keep your tax over-payments for the year. It is not free money the government is nicely donating to you. Adjust your withholding amount to try to pay less and get a smaller refund. That way your dollars are still in your pocket to help your business.

I'm in the tattoo and body piercing business and I run my business so that I don't get any refund but then, I never have to pay any either but if I did get a refund, I would put it right back into my business. I used to until I got used to this system.

I paid a years worth of car payments, which meant I paid less in interest. I also bought a laptop with 3 year warranty, paid some bills, and treated my kids to a few really nice dinners out.

By the way, fantastic choice in how you are spending your tax refund!

I already used my taxes to finish paying off one of my cars, and completely cleared all items on my credit report. (Im 24 years old so yes i messed up a few times in the past) but now i free up my paychecks to better provide for my wife and children and improve my future by clearing my name. Now i just have to finish attaining my degree.

That's quite a healthy refund - um, this year, unfortunately we ended up owing taxes (it was the whole dual income-no kids thing).

You're getting a refund?

Good job exploiting the loopholes of the tax code that benefit the super-rich.
