Here is an honest opinion, no coddling, no jokes. Do you know that taking the pill does not protect you from sexually transmitted disease? Do you know where your boyfriend "went" before he was with you? He could have something and not know. Never EVER have sex without a condom, even that can't protect you 100% Just because you're taking the pill doesn't give you license to tempt fate. If you get pregnant or get a disease, what are you going to do? You need to think about the consequences of your actions BEFORE you do them. Just because you're taking birth control doesn't give you license to be reckless either. It's not a free pass to have all the sex you want. You can't just go get the morning after pill. That is for victims of rape and incest, not irresponsible little girls. Do you know how many people are fighting for the rights of women to just have control over when they have a baby and if they have one? Do what you want, but as a feminist, I can tell you that you're working against everything we have worked so hard to accomplish. I don't care if you don't like my answer, it's better than any others I've read and it's the truth.

Amazing how it's always the guys that say 'you don't need to worry'...
The contraceptive pill takes 28 days to become effective. Go get a morning after pill quickly. They don't have any effect once you're passed 72 hours from having sex.
Do remember that the morning after pill will shag up the contraceptive pill you're using. So you'll need to talk to your doctor/nurse about how to restart it effectively.
Your boyfriend decided his need for a quick shag was more important than your safety. He'd prefer to put you through and unwanted child than wait a few days/use a condom. Remember that if you stay with this loser.

Honey, whether you are on birth control or not; there is ALWAYS a chance of getting pregnant. However, you CANNOT change what has already happened....... you can only decide to NOT have sex in the future so that you don't have to worry about becoming pregnant or having a disease.
Oh, I remember when I was younger. I THOUGHT I was ready to have sex. And I did. But once I found out that I was pregnant, my entire world fell apart. I now wish that I would have waited to become sexually active.
Maybe now you hope that too?? You cannot change what has already happened........ but you can take a vow to NO LONGER have sex BEFORE you become married. I wish I would have!! Lots of teens are taking those vows nowadays..... and I think it's terrific!!!!!
As, I believe it is more about RESPECTING YOURSELF........ being able to LOVE YOURSELF before you bring another person into this world. Simply, I didn't love myself before I became pregnant & I sure didn't know how to love my baby when she got here. I just don't wish any other young lady to go through what I did!!
Think about this: YOU ARE WORTH WAITING FOR!!

Go and talk to a pharmacist or your GP - it's usually 28 days before you can expect full protection from the pill

You are 16 and you started your birth control pills.I can't believe that..But you had sex with your boyfriend and he said you shouldn't worry about that.I suggest that you go and see a doctor. Sometimes, pills don't work. go to see your doctor.

I am on a pill where as soon as you take it or first start taking it you are protected at once, I am now assuming that it depends on the pill you are on.
Read the leaflet or speak to a pharmacist, or google the pill
