No...it's a homage to the campy b-movie flicks of the 70s.

Rob DID direct one of the movie 'trailers' in the middle of the film though.

A Rob Zombie 'spin-off' would be considered a 'child', 'baby', 'son' or 'daughter'. LOL! Grindhouse did not come from Rob's spermatosa. But, now you know ;-)

Nope, but I do believe that Rob was a technical advisor in the double feature.

No. It's a movie that came from Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez and their twisted quest to come up with the stupidest movie that has nothing but violence and half naked chicks in it.

Saw it last night and it was extremely bloody and gory but very entertaining and funny if you appreciate Quentin Tarantino's mindset.
