Well, Skippy, I don't know. I do know that Gore never said he invented the internet, that's a political lie, propagated by the Republicans. Al Gore *did* however foster legislation that led to the internet being developed, and made available to the general public. See the link below, and then you can feel educated, instead of spewing this eternally repeated lie.
So, since Al Gore did, in a sense, invent the internet, by your reasoning, what he says about global warming at least bears listening to, unless, of course, your mind is either closed, or naturally vacant.
Also, as far as you courrent opinion on Global Warming, you need ot stop watching Fox and start listening to liberal organizations like the Supreme Court, who has ordered the EPA to regulate CO2 emissions. Or listen to the vast majority of scientists who feel that global warming is cause by human activities. I'm a chemist, and to me the evidence is compelling. Hannity, O'Reilly, Limp-baugh, Coulter, are not chemists, so frankly, their opinions on this subject are as valid as the guy who delivers your pizza, maybe less valid, if he was paying attention in HS chemistry.

Well, given that the first is true and well-substantiated, and the second is a lie, not of Gore's but of the right, I'd have to say that your question is by far the most ridiculous.
http://environment.newscientist.com/channel/earth/climate-change/
Is a page on a science news website. If you were interested in learning the truth, you'd click the link, read what's there, and click the links there to read the details and supporting evidence.
You probably aren't, so you probably won't.
http://www.snopes.com/quotes/internet.asp
is a page on the Urban Legends website, addressing the bogus "Gore claimed he invented the Internet" myth.
quote
During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.
end quote
What he (correctly) claimed was pushing legislation that enabled the Internet as a tool for economic growth, environmental protection, and education.
He did NOT say he invented it.
But then, your posting your questions is strong evidence that you are uninterested in the truth.

Inventing the Internets. It is a concrete fact that Al Gore did NOT invent the Internet. As for Global Warming - that's a little hazy. In his defense - if someone convinces you that a lie is true, and then you repeat the lie (that you think is true) to some one else, are you really lying? I used that statement to defend Bush and the erroneous intelligence he was given...it is an acceptable argument for Gore and his global warming.

your question is based on lies. He did not say he invented the Internet, he actually helped it through creating legislation. As far as Global Warming, it is based on hard facts, the interpretation of these facts could change (it's called science), What are you basing you opinion on...there is no real science backing anti-global warming statements...produce something a real climate/weather scientist has studied....the basis of this simple, one lined, ignorant question is junk science by politicians and commentators

Many credible highly educated scientist of the world have agreed with Gore's GW stance.
As to your inventing the internet statement.....that was taken out of context....typical Republican ploy!
If it wasn't for Al Gore....the internet would still be only a military/government tool!
Al Gore brought to the masses!

What did you expect from Mr. Recount the vote Gore. He is a professional liar and a socialist. The man has a monthly eletric bill of over $1600 and tells everyone else to quit wasting energy. Typical liberal --- do as I say, not as I do, or should I say -- "it depends on what your definition of the word is, is."

He never ever ever said he invented the Internet. He said that he had a hand (took the initiative) in the funding of the project that became the Internet. And he's right. You know this. It's just something that you say to get libs pissed off.

Actually, it's your lies that are ridiculous.
Gore has the scientific community on his side, you don't.
And, Gore NEVER claimed to have invented the Internet. Try checking your "facts" sometime, Junior.
